Solo Exhibition

  • "Shelter": August 1-30, 2023 Ossining Public Library Gallery, Ossining, NY

“What happens when the roof over our head disappears?

Where do we go to seek shelter when the shelter won’t hold?

How do we protect each other when the ocean has come into our living room, bedrooms, clinics, courts and all the sanctuaries that are rightfully ours?

Where is the safe house for our fragile hearts when the house is on fire?” ~Beth DeWit

ArtsAlive Grant Recipient Beth DeWit presents her Solo Art Exhibit “Shelter” opening August 1st at the Ossining Public Library Gallery. A reception and artist talk will be held August 5th 2-4 pm. The exhibit extends through August 30th during library hours.

This project is made possible with funds by the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by ArtsWestchester.
